Beginning September 1st 2011, Christie's Private Sales is pleased to now provide clients in France with a convenient channel, complimentary to auction, through which they may buy and sell works of art with the ultimate discretion and unrestricted by the auction timeline. Christie's conducts private sales throughout the world, including at our premier private sale gallery spaces in New York, London, Dubai and Hong Kong.

Our esteemed specialists, known for their scholarship, market savvy, and access to a global network of clients, work one-on-one with buyers and sellers to devise a personalized strategy to fulfill each clients' interests.

Christie's Private Sales paves the way as the first auction house to complete a private sale in France: three major works from the Marquet de Vasselot collection were privately sold to the Musée du Louvre and the Musée national du Moyen Age - Thermes et Hôtel de Cluny in September 2011.
